Systemic Improvement
Data Director & School Improvement
- Stores limitless array of assessment data
- Provides tools to analyze data to inform instruction
- Uploads MEAP and MME by default
- Allows for a variety of standardized (like NWEA) and user-created (like unit tests) assessments
- In addition, allows for tracking issues and events like parent involvement and parent teacher conference participation
Data Director is the more comprehensive program for not only using student data from the MEAP and MME, but also for online testing, storing assessment results from both standardized and locally developed assessments, and designing assessments to be used either on or offline.
Data 4 Student Success is much more limited in itThres breadth and application. It is designed to be used to analyze student results from the MEAP and MME. Its chief strong point is that pre-designed reports provide quick results when looking at data from those two sources. Because of that limitation in breadth, the remainder of this document will deal with using Data Director
